Appendix: Feature Comparison ⚖️
uno23.com comes in three plans, and each one builds on the last. The first is free and needs no login at all. The second is a free login that includes 100 credits — it adds your own stories, playback, comments and credits. Premium is the third, and it is what a login becomes, once it has bought 1 000 credits in total: it adds the extended study stories, panel groups, and multiple language pairs and more.

Open the site and read. The demo stories are there for exactly this, and they stay free: no login, no card, nothing to cancel. You can also tap the speaker button beside a line to hear it, and you can read the blog, watch the videos and read the legal pages.
What you cannot do is keep anything. Study and relax stories belong to a login, and so do playback, comments and credits.

Creating a login costs nothing and is free forever. It unlocks:
- Your own stories. Study stories are a course, organised by level, moving you through one topic at a time. Relax stories are reading for pleasure, on topics you choose — including topics you add yourself.
- Playback. The play button opens a setup where each step says what should happen: show the text, play the audio, wait a few seconds, or wait for you to say "next". Listening costs nothing, at any balance.
- Comments on stories, which are private — there is no public forum.
- The Credits page, where you can see your balance, your history and the packages.
Every new login starts with free credits, enough to create several stories and try the whole thing. They are not renewed.
Logged in Premium
Buying 1 000 credits in total — counted over the life of the login, not necessarily in one purchase — makes the login premium, permanently. Spending credits afterwards does not take it away, the free credits you start with do not count towards it, and it is not a subscription: there is no renewal, no expiry and nothing to cancel.
Premium adds:
- The extended study stories — a longer form of a study story, at the same topic and level.
- Panel groups — a group is a set of dialogs you assemble and play back as one session.
- The language-pair badge in the header, showing which pair you are reading.
- Changing your language pair at any time. A logged-in learner can change it too, until they have study stories for the old pair; after that they have to delete them to move. Premium skips that.
- More new lines a day. Each line is spoken the first time it is heard and kept from then on, so a line you have already heard is unlimited for everyone — this is about how many new lines a day premium allows.
What premium does and does not change
Premium does not make credits cheaper to buy: the packages cost the same in every state. What it changes is what you spend — every charge a premium login incurs is 3% lower than the same charge on a free login.
